We advise that water based products are used with our products. We recommend that solvents are NOT used with any sprayers, including Viton.
Please follow the below guidelines for choosing what to use with the Pressure Sprayers.
• Do not use any solvents. A solvent is something other than water (usually a liquid but can also be a gas) that is capable of dissolving a solute e.g. nail varnish remover, white spirit, petrol, alcohol, benzene, paraffin etc. This means you should only use products that are water based.
• Only use a product if it specifically says in the products instructions that it can be applied with a sprayer.
• Things like paraffin or petrol can become highly explosive when misted. Therefore these should never be used with a pressure sprayer.
• Don’t use anything with a flash point below 55 degrees. Flash point is the temperature that the product will burst into flames of its own accord.
