If your sprayer is not building or holding pressure, follow the steps below to identify and possibly resolve the issue.
🔍 Step 1: Check the Seals
- Ensure all seals are in place and are not damaged or worn.
- If the seals are dry or stiff, apply a light layer of grease (e.g., petroleum jelly, vaseline or silicone grease) to help them form an airtight seal.
🫧 Step 2: Check for Air Leaks
To test if air is escaping from the unit:
- Fill a bucket or bath with enough water to submerge the sprayer bottle.
- Place the entire bottle (not the handle) under water.
- Pump the handle several times.
- Watch for air bubbles escaping from the unit.
💡 The bubbles will help identify exactly where air is leaking, such as around the pump handle, lid, or hose connection.
