Can I connect the hose to the male inlet on top of the reel?
No. This is a parking point. You need to connect your hose to the inlet on the back of the reel.
Why is my open reel leaking from the centre of the reel?
There could either be damage to the white inlet connector or the hook spring has been connected to the end of the hose rather than the white inlet.
Please check that the hook has been attached to the white inlet first. If the white inlet is damaged, a spare part can be purchased on the Hozelock Spares website.
Does the hose have to be fully unwound to use?
The hose does not need to be fully unwound to water - simply pull out the amount you require, and start watering.
Can it be dismounted from the wall and used, if required?
