What If I Don’t Have a Receipt for My Guarantee Claim?
At Hozelock, our product guarantees are typically tied to your proof of purchase—this is usually your store receipt or online order confirmation. Without this, we may not be able to honour a guarantee claim.
However, in exceptional circumstances, we may be able to assist further by checking the product’s serial number to determine if it falls within the manufacturer’s guarantee period. Only a few products have serial numbers that can be found (the ones listed below). Once you have located the serial number, please send your claim into support@hozelock.zendesk.com
Important: A serial number does not replace your receipt, and any replacement offered without proof of purchase is at our discretion and not covered by a further guarantee.
🔢 Where to Find the Serial Number
If you've been asked to provide a serial number, here's where to look depending on the product:
Auto Reel
- Please send a photo of the label found under the carrying handle on the top of the Auto Reel.
Water Timer / Controller
- Locate the 6-digit number printed inside the controller, next to the batteries.
- Please send a photo of this number.
Spray Gun
- Shine a torch inside the trigger handle to find the 6-digit serial number printed inside.
- Please send a photo of the number printed inside the trigger.
Tuffhoze
- Unscrew one of the hose end connectors and look for the 4-digit number printed on the grey expansion retainer inside the hose.
- Please send a photo of this number.
Superhoze
- A label on the packaging the hose came in showing a 6-digit number. You can also unscrew the hose end connector and the 6 digit number will be located on there.
- Please send a photo of this number.
Aquatic Products
- Usually located on the ratings label which will either be on the top of the unit or the inside of the unit.
- Please send a photo of the ratings label.
⚠️ What Happens Next?
- If the serial number falls within the manufacturer’s guarantee window, we’ll do our best to help—but please note we cannot promise a replacement without proof of purchase.
- In some cases, a goodwill replacement may be offered. These are not covered under any further guarantee.
