In many cases, problems with oscillation are caused by limescale build-up or dirt trapped inside the mechanism.
Follow the steps below to help resolve the issue:
🔧 Step 1: Remove Limescale
Fill a bowl with a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar.
Place the sprinkler in the solution and soak for about 30 minutes.
This helps dissolve limescale deposits that may be blocking the internal mechanism.
🔧 Step 2: Remove Dirt or Grit
Spray a small amount of WD-40 into the sprinkler at the end where the water enters.
This helps loosen and clear any grit stuck in the oscillator.
🔧 Step 3: Flush the System
Turn your tap on to full power.
Kink the hose a few inches from the sprinkler to temporarily stop the water flow.
Hold it for a few seconds to build pressure, then release.
This sudden flush of water can dislodge particles inside the sprinkler.
🔧 Step 4: Clean the Filter
Check the small filter inside the male connector of the sprinkler.
Make sure it is free from debris and fully clean.
